Disclaimer: In the unlikely event that I get injured or become too ill to service the event, I will make every effort to secure a replacement service provider. If the situation should occur and a suitable replacement is not found, responsibility and liability is limited to the return of all payments received for the event package.

By proceeding to book by way of paying the booking fee, you accept that you are entering into a contract and you agree to be bound by the conditions outlined below

My services includes 50km (25km in, 25km out) travel on the round trip. After that a travel fee of R4.50 per km will be applicable. This will be added to the final invoice.
Any parking/toll/congestion charges will be added to the final balance. Accommodation charges if applicable will be discussed and added to the final balance. 

Final Payment:
The Outstanding amount needs to be paid 48Hours before the wedding. All Extra’s fees will be added to the bride/client’s invoice.
It will be the client/bride’s responsibility to collect this from the extras (if they are paying for it)

During the consultation I will work out a timeline. We need to stick to this timeline to ensure that the quality of the make-up and hair is the best it can be.
This normally means 3 Hours (hair and make-up) for the bride, and 45min per extra (make-up only). When reserving the date please keep this in mind.
All persons involved in makeup appointments need to be available at the scheduled time.
All makeup for more than one person must be at the same location and consecutive times (no gaps in between).

In the unfortunate event you have to cancel your booking, please inform the makeup artist as soon as possible. All cancellations will incur the following cancellation fees.

Wedding is more than 3  Months away:
Should you wish to cancel your booking after the R300 booking fee has been paid, the R300 will be non-refundable.

Wedding is less than 3 months away
If the event is cancelled within 90 days, the client is liable to pay the full amount as was to be carried out in services by the artist due to the likelihood of other work not being undertaken as a result of the booking.  Should the client not honour this all legal costs will also be for the client’s account.

This also applies to weddings that have been cancelled due to personal relationship or personal financial problems.

 

Please confirm your numbers carefully at the time of your booking, as we don’t offer any reductions at any time for hair and makeup services. Should someone in your wedding/group booking cancel at any time they are welcome to be replaced with someone else, e.g. a guest or relative.

I  will always check verbally if the client is happy for the me to post a photo on the wedding day onto social media platforms. First prize would be the professional photograher’s photos. Normally I will get photos from the bride and give credit to the photographer. If this is not acceptable please advise before the wedding.

 

Please note that all prices are subject to change. If you have already paid a security deposit then you retain the rates invoiced at the time of booking for the respective booking.

All brushes, tools and makeup products are kept sanitary and are sanitized between every wedding / event. Any skin condition should be reported by the client to the makeup artist prior to application and, if need be, a sample test of makeup may be performed on the skin to test reaction. Client(s) agree to release the makeup artist, Iza Cloete MUA, from liability for any skin complications due to allergic reactions.

Cancellations by the makeup artist due to circumstances including, but not limited to, problems affecting the makeup artists performance of their obligations where no other suitable alternative can be arranged, a full refund of the deposit will be given to the client. No further compensation will be offered. If the booking is directly affected by circumstances beyond the control of the makeup artist including but not limited to weather conditions, safety reasons, where possible the makeup artist will endeavour to rectify such situations, however, no compensation will be offered on the makeup artist part. It is strongly advised that you take out wedding or event insurance to cover you against these situations. 

Prior to the trial, it is the responsibility of the client to inform the makeup artist of any known skin sensitivity to products or concerns that may affect the use of any equipment or products; all details are treated as confidential. This includes but is not limited to sensitivities, allergies and medical conditions. Where possible, the makeup artist will choose products that should suit your skin type according to the information provided. Everyone’s skin is different and it’s possible to be allergic to anything. The products selected and agreed upon during the trial will be the products that will be used on the day of your wedding. The makeup artist is not liable for any adverse reactions to products used and cannot be held liable for any losses that are incurred due to adverse reactions to products used. If the client or party requires a patch test for any products, this can be arranged. 

If any additional people require styling on the day, but do not have a booking, this is not normally a problem and payment can be in cash at the time of the appointment prior to us starting the service. It is recommended to give Iza notice if others in attendance want styling so arrangements for time slots can be made. It is advised that numbers for styling are confirmed in advance to avoid potential disappointment where we may not be able to cater to extras.
