Dear bride

You are engaged to the love of your life. Congratulations! What a wonderful time. I’m sure you are thinking, nobody told me it’s going to be this overwhelming? So many service providers to choose from, so many decisions to make, so many family members to consider.

You have not landed on my page by accident. You are here for me to tell you that it is important to stay true to yourself. Your wedding day is not a day to impress your mother, your sister, your father or your best friend. It’s a day which should reflect you and your personal style. You should be the most beautiful version of your self for your husband. He loves YOU, not Kylie Jenner or the newest trend in New York. He loves you, every part of you.

Yes the wedding planning might be chaotic. Your bridesmaids might want to upstage you, your mother might drive you nuts, you might be so overwhelmed that the idea of elopement sounds far too attractive. But I promise you, this will be one of the best days in your life. During the trial process we will make stupid jokes, we will get to know each other and most importantly you will be sure that I am in your corner.  I promise to be the calm in the storm. On the wedding day I can take charge or I can blend into the backround. I have seen all the 100 different scenarios of bridal rooms. I’ve got your back!

My main aim is you and making you look like the best version of yourself.

Let’s do this!

About me

I’ve been a makeup artist in Cape Town for 12 years. For the first 2 years my only focus was Bridal makeup, but I very soon realized that bridal hairstyling was the cream to the coffee to bridal makeup. I did a hairstyling course and never looked back.

I often get asked which I enjoy more. Makeup or hairstyling? It’s impossible to choose. I love natural makeup and elegant, effortless hairstyles. Whatever the style, If a woman feels confidant and empowered in my chair, I enjoy whichever one I’m doing.
